We supply a tried and tested range of ultra performance timber bubble seals. Taking advantage of the properties of our Silplex material the Bubble Seal demonstrates excellent deflection recovery, high performance, high tear strength and good acoustic properties. Fitted directly into the timber frame beading it provides excellent draft and weatherproofing. Ideal for timber casement windows, it can be used on the top or bottom of sashes if required. It is UV and Ozone stable and easy to clean and maintain. Available in 5mm, 6mm and 8mm bubble sizes, it is supplied in 50m coils. It is available in white, brown and black.
Features:
• Rigid foot is manufactured from Polypropylene and the bubble is manufactured from Silpex (TPE).
• Available in 5mm, 6mm and 8mm Bubble sizes. • 5mm Bubble - seals a gap: 2.0 - 4.0mm.
• 6mm Bubble - seals a gap: 2.0 - 5.0mm.
• 5mm Bubble - seals a gap: 3.0 - 7.0mm.
• Designed for grooves 2.5mm - 3.0mm wide x 6mm deep - use router cutter TCT073.
• Polypropylene foot adds rigidity to the insertion and retention of the seal. Flexible fins "spread" into the groove to keep it in place.
• May also be used in door applications.
• Can be used to seal the top and bottom of a sash window.
• Simply push fit into the groove.• Resilient to most paints and varnishes.

Installation Instructions: 1. Measure the gap between the opener and the frame and select the seal based on the sealed gap size. 2. Measure the timber to determine the length of seal required. 3. If there is no channel for the seal, rout out a channel, using Reddiseals router bit TCT073 4. Cut the seal to the required length using Reddiseals cutters, remembering to mitre in the corners. 5. Make sure the surface is clean and dry and free from any surface oils, dirt or sawdust etc. 6. Push fit the foot into the routed groove, making sure it is a good tight fit. 7. Test the window to make sure there is a smooth opening and closing movement.
